We are waiting for a final signature from the home office reviewing our home study. This is a very exciting step. I did confirm that once the signature is in all of our paper work will be sent to Hong Kong. This is our Hong Kong application. They will then review everything and get back to the agency. At this same time our home study will be sent to immigration. If they approve us we will receive dates to be finger printed, AGAIN, for their clearances. The really exciting news is that we may not have to wait to hear back from immigration(this takes approx.30 days) before we get matched with a child. The agency said they will see what children are available that fit our criteria(have Down syndrome) and call us for a viewing of the file.
I am ready to see our son!
